The newlyweds’ final wedding banquet, which cost a high five-figure sum, was held in five-star hotel Wanda Realm Wuhan. About 200 guests attended, most of whom are the couple’s relatives and good pals from China.

Aloysius Pang (second from left), Xu Bin’s fellow artiste from local talent agency NoonTalk Media, flew all the way to Wuhan to be Xu Bin’s groomsman for the wedding. Now, that’s what we call being a brudder.

You’d be forgiven if, like us, you thought that the bride had just stepped out of a Chinese period drama. Her elaborate traditional wedding gown and hair pins look like they came straight from the set of 2011 drama Scarlet Heart.

Besides that, the groomsmen also had to walk barefoot on a reflexology mat, drink coke from two cans fixed on a guzzler helmet, and look for the bride’s red shoes hidden in the room — a common wedding gatecrashing practice in China.

We think we’ve figured out Yifei’s taste in wedding gowns — the fancier, the better. If you recall, a light show was projected onto the bride’s white dress during the wedding lunch held at Orchard hotel in Singapore (left). There wasn’t any such gimmick at the recent banquet. Instead, she showed up in an elaborate lace gown with a long train adorned with shiny crystals.
