Last week, Taiwanese actress-host Phoebe Huang, 49, announced that she and her Canadian actor husband of 16 years, Christopher Downs, 50, are splitting up.

Like with every celeb divorce, it quickly led to discussions about how the couple would divide their assets.

According to Mirror Media, Phoebe started buying property when she was 30.

After making a bundle from selling one of her houses, she realised that it was the best way to earn money.

It's said that Phoebe has never been one to splurge on material goods. Instead, she invests her earnings in the property market.
The couple have a 12-year-old daughter Kyana Poppy Downs

Besides owning property in Taiwan, where she lives, Phoebe also owns two houses in Vancouver and Quebec, which are registered under both her and Christopher's names.

Also, when she and Christopher were holidaying in Malaysia, they decided to invest in property there. As such, they own a house and a shopfront near the Petronas Twin Towers.

Phoebe also owns several pieces of land.

She previously bought a piece of land which faces the beach in Yilan County, as she felt that it was a rare find and is currently waiting for its price to rise before selling it.
