Hongkong actor Pakho Chau is a very lucky man. The 35-year-old shared in a recent interview that his stylist wife Stephanie Chu has stuck by his side through some of the toughest times of his life. The pair, who secretly tied the knot in 2016, kept their relationship on the down-low because they didn't want Stephanie's life to be disrupted by fans and the media.

According to Pakho, they first started dating when he was just an acne-faced 18-year-old. To make matters worse, he was dropped as a model, and was forced to become a handyman at a music studio. His job scope included buying food for the rest of the employees and washing the toilet.
Calling this one of the lowest points of his life, Pakho admitted that Stephanie never complained about his situation or looked down on him. She also paid for all of their dates and did not mind that he was spending her money.

After he became an actor, they couldn't hold hands when they were out in public and their ‘dates’ were all about eating takeout at home so that they wouldn’t get caught by the paparazzi.
Even when they were preparing for their wedding, Pakho never once went with Stephanie to the bridal studio as he was afraid of their relationship being exposed. Calling it a “huge regret”, he let on that he intends to bring his wife to try on bridal gowns on their fifth wedding anniversary. Then, he will finally get the chance to tell her how beautiful she looks in wedding gowns.
Looking back at their relationship and how dedicated Stephanie has been, the actor declared, “If my fans didn’t want to accept that I was married, I would have been more than happy to leave showbiz. I love this woman too much [to care].”

A Singapore construction site has reached 6 million accident-free man hours, marking a major safety milestone in one of the country’s highest-risk industries. Accident-free man hours refer to the total number of hours worked across all workers without a single injury, often used as a benchmark for workplace safety performance in construction projects. While such achievements are widely celebrated, Singapore’s construction sector continues to face challenges, with dozens of deaths and major injuries reported in 2025 alone. At the same time, improvements in worker welfare — including upgraded dormitories with better living conditions, recreational facilities, and shared spaces — are becoming a key part of the broader push towards safer worksites. #8dayssg #8dayssgtrending #singapore #sgnews #migrantworkers
