Nicholas Tse’s cookie biz, Chef Nic’s Cookies, drew its fair share of haters when it first opened in 2015. After all, netizens reasoned, what did the actor know about baking? With his first bakery located in downtown Hong Kong, Nic, who is more known for his culinary exploits these days, also faced stiff competition from well-established bakeries around him. But they were no match for Nic's star power and his business flourished. According to the brand’s Facebook page, they opened six outlets in four years.

However, according to Apple Daily, all his stores will be closing for good because sales have plummeted due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
