Because Taiwanese celebrity couple Mickey Huang and Summer Meng had to postpone their much-hyped April 19 wedding dinner to May 2021 ‘cos of COVID-19, their very first public appearance together after they registered their marriage was not on their wedding day.
Rather, it was at a press conference for a charity foundation, which Mickey took as a blessing in disguise.
“We [had planned] to appear as a wedded couple together in front of the media at our wedding, but the heavens arranged for [our first appearance] to be at this charity press conference instead. Summer also majored in social work, so all I can say is that the fates really have their own plans [for us],” he said.
