If you have watched K-drama The Glory, which stars Song Hye Kyo, 41, you’d know how addictive the Netflix series is.

The drama tells the story of a primary school teacher — played by Hye Kyo — who is out to exact vengeance on her high school bullies.

The first part of the 16-episode series premiered on Dec 30, with the second half slated to be released March 10.

Since its premiere, The Glory has won viewers over with its gripping storyline and talented cast.

It was the most-watched non-English TV show on Netflix last week with more than 80 million viewing hours.

So it’s no surprise that when drama ended on a cliffhanger, netizens took to social media to lament about the ending and request for Part 2 to be brought forward.

There were comments like "I can't wait that long!", “I watched Part 1 all night, but I feel like I have only watched the trailer, so I’m mad” and “I’m about to lose my breath from waiting”.

Some also questioned the need to split the drama into two parts.

Actress Lim Ji Yeon plays Park Yeon Jin, the mean girl who led a group of bullies into abusing Dong-Eun when they were in high school

According to Netflix Korea, it was after careful discussion that they decided to split the series into two parts, with an interval of three months.

It added that the second part will be released in March as planned and promised that it is worth waiting for.

Along with new drama stills that were released today (Jan 18), writer Kim Eun Sook said Part 2, which sees Dong-Eun and Yeon Jin’s fight officially begin, will be filled with excitement, intensity, and satisfying moments.
