Netizens Believe That Huang Xiaoming and Angelababy Are Divorced 'Cos Of This Wreath

The Internet has been full of speculation about whether Huang Xiaoming, 42, and Angelababy, 31, are still married. It doesn't help that the two stars, who tied the knot in 2015 and have a baby son nicknamed “ Little Sponge”, haven’t been seen together in public for a long time.
The last time they were in the same room together was at Little Sponge’s birthday party in January. But even then, Xiaoming was dressed as Ultraman the whole time and never took off his costume and mask, which then led netizens to speculate if Angelababy had simply hired a stand-in, and that the actor wasn’t even there.

And this brings us to the latest divorce rumour to plague the couple.
Recently, Xiaoming sent a wreath to the memorial service of late Chinese actress, Yu Lan. Yu Lan, who made her film debut in 1921, was a widely-respected thespian, and a large number of celebrities had paid their respects in similar fashion.
However, a netizen noticed that Xiaoming’s wreath was sent in his name only, and did not include Angelababy. The netizen also added that other celeb couples like Guo Xiaodong and Cheng Lisha, Wang Lei and Li Xiaomeng had all sent in wreaths together, and for this reason, he believed that "Xiaoming and Angelababy are divorced for real”.

The post sparked a lot of discussion online, with some netizens calling it “a clear indicator” of the couple’s strained relationship. However, some netizens weren't so easily convinced.
“Xiaoming probably wrote his own name only 'cos [Angelababy] had no prior relationship [with Yu Lan],” one reasoned.
They're doing just fine
Another netizen also brought up something Xiaoming had mentioned during a recent episode of variety show, Back To Field, as proof that Xiaoming and Angelababy are doing just fine.
In that episode, Chinese actor Huang Lei was busy cooking some braised pork.
When Xiaoming saw what Huang Lei was cooking, he immediately remarked: “Angelababy said that your braised pork was super delicious, so I came here to learn how to cook from you.”
