Netizens Are Shocked By Taiwanese Singer Landy Wen’s Appearance In New Vid, Say She Now Has A “Swollen Pig’s Head”
Surprisingly, the singer is not offended by the porcine comparison.
Taiwanese singer Landy Wen’s latest social media post has been roasted by netizens. The 40-year-old recently went online to promote the use of tea tree or roman chamomile essential oil mixed with vegetable oil or alcohol as a disinfectant to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
But it wasn't the content of her post that got netizens all riled up. Questionable COVID-19 prevention advice aside, netizens could not help but notice how strange Landy looks in the video.
Essential oils to the rescue
You see, netizens felt that Landy’s face looked unnaturally stiff, and that her chin and nose were way too sharp.
“What happened to your face?” a concerned follower asked, while others went straight for the jugular. "Is that a swollen pig's head?" said one particularly nasty netizen.
Guess their insults didn't land well
Landy, however, was not affected by the comments. In fact, she responded by saying that pigs “are very smart, and clean”. She later said that her younger brother had told her she had held the camera too close to her face, which was why she looked different.
It's not the first time Landy has been accused of going under the knife but the singer has always maintained that she has never “fine-tuned” her face.
