Things are going well on the relationship front for Hong Kong veteran actress Nancy Sit.

In 2018, Nancy revealed she had been in a relationship for 12 years with a man, Andy, who was 17 years younger than her. He was a restaurant owner in Mainland China that she had met through mutual friends. They later broke up as Nancy was concerned about their 17-year age gap, the star later admitted.

However, that wasn't the end of their love story.

Nancy, 75, and Andy, 58, have rekindled their relationship, she revealed in a recent interview with actress Michelle Wai.

When the topic of her relationship came up again during a separate interview with Hong Kong media personality Stephen Chan, Nancy sent a sweet message to her boyfriend saying: "I hope our love will be eternal".

Nancy was previously married to a businessman from 1984 to 1995, with whom she has three children together.

During the interview, Nancy, who reportedly has a net worth of HKD200mil (S$33mil), was asked about her plans to divide her estate when she passes on in the future.

Nancy laughed as she revealed her kids are very filial, and still insist on giving her monthly household expenses. "I told them it's not necessary, but it's a token of their appreciation, and I'm very grateful for it," she said.

While she no longer needs to worry about her kids, Nancy can't help but overthink about matters of the heart.

She admitted: "I've always been thinking about this relationship...I'm over 10 years older than him. I did not dare to accept [his affections] at the start as I was worried his feelings might be fleeting, and he would stop liking me over a period of time. He has many choices, but he's been very good to me all these years."

"There was a day I forgot to tell him 'goodnight, see you in my dreams' and he actually [lamented about] not hearing my voice that day," she added.

Nancy's kids have already accepted Andy, and he joins them on family trips.

"There's one thing I'm unable to ignore — I'm older than him, and might leave this world before him. If we were a couple closer in age, we would probably pass away within a couple years of each other. This has always been on my mind, and when I confided in my daughter, she told me it doesn't matter and asked that I enjoy the present and not think overthink."

With all that said, Nancy is insistent on not remarrying, elaborating that since she has already been through a divorce, and does not wish to get married again.

She made this confession to Andy during the interview: "Thank you for always doting on me, for being considerate of me, and for taking care of me. I believe it's rare for me to have such a sweet experience in this stage of my life. You always say I look younger than you, and the fact is I'm really like a child, you're much more mature than me, and whenever I have troubles, you're always there to share the burden. I'm lucky to have met you, and I hope we can continue to be as loving and blissful".

Nancy also thanked Andy for the precious time they're able to spend together.

The most important thing to her now? Staying healthy and cherishing the love they have for each other.
