Nam Joo Hyuk finally gets to explore Hong Kong

South Korean actor Nam Joo Hyuk held a fan meeting in Hong Kong on February 24. He kicked off the event with a performance of Yi Sung Yol's 'Waiting', before greeting fans in Cantonese.

Although Joo Hyuk was previously in the country in 2017 for the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), it had been four years since his last fan meeting there. He admitted to feeling nervous, as if he were a newbie again.

He then talked about his brand new television series The Light in Your Eyes, which started airing just two weeks ago. "I cried so much while filming this drama," he shared. "I hope all of you will show your support for it."

When asked about his impression of Hong Kong, Joo Hyuk shared that he was so bored in his hotel room the night before that he went out to admire the city's night scenery. "It was the first time I got to properly explore Hong Kong, and I was really happy," he gushed.

He added that while he has yet to have the chance to try dim sum, he had delicious wonton noodles for lunch the afternoon of the fan meeting.
