Thai Stars Nadech And Yaya, Who Are Known As The “Nation's Couple”, Engaged After 12 Years Of Dating
What a seriously gorgeous couple.

Thai stars Nadech Kugimiya, 31, and Urassaya Sperbund aka Yaya, 30, are engaged after 12 years of dating.
The stars, who have been dubbed the “Nation's Couple” shared the happy news on Instagram yesterday (June 5) with a post that featured super sweet photos from their engagement in Italy.
“We decided on forever,” they wrote.
“I am the happiest man because I’m lucky to have this woman in my life. A new journey begins and I’m super excited. You are my soul, my laugh, my tear, and my air (sic). And thank you for saying “YES”,” read the first half of the caption, which was written from Nadech’s POV.
Yaya then cheekily continued: “Well, I actually [screamed] AHHHHEEEEEHHH and then YES!! To the moon and back baby.”
The couple first met on the set of romance drama Duang Jai Akkanee in 2010, and have starred in seven dramas and a movie together.
According to Nadech, he fell for Yaya while working on Duang Jai Akkanee but only gathered the courage to ask for her number after they wrapped up the filming for the show. However, he did not dare reach out to her.
It was Yaya who ended up texting Nadech first on his birthday.
The two then got closer as they met more often for work, and eventually started dating in 2011.
Nadech is best known for his role in Game Rai Game Rak (2011), Sunset at Chaophraya (2017), The Crown Princess (2018) and Netflix’s The Con-Heartist (2020).
He has been called 'Thailand's Eddie Peng' and was the youngest Thai actor to receive the Best Leading Actor award at the TV Gold Awards for his role in The Rising Sun drama series (2014).
Yaya, who is now one of Thailand's biggest stars, is also known for her leading roles in shows such as Game Rai Game Rak (2011), Torranee Ni Nee Krai Krong (2012), and The Crown Princess (2018). She was awarded Best Actress at the Suphannahong National Film Awards for her performance in the 2018 film, Brother of the Year.
