It’s no secret that a large number of artistes have set their sights on the lucrative Chinese market, choosing to focus their career there.
However, this move comes with its own set of hate comments from netizens, many of whom accuse the stars of "kowtowing to the Chinese yuan".
Hongkong actress Myolie Wu, who left Hongkong broadcaster TVB in 2015 to further her career in China, is no exception. And the 41-year-old recently shared that she had read several comments from netizen accusing her of working in China "for the money".
And well, this new report isn’t exactly going to help Myolie’s case.
