Chinese Idol Begs Fans To Stop Making Fun Of Him After He Is Seen Wearing Fake Calvin Klein Underwear
Instead of 'Calvin Klein', the words on Mu Ziyang’s underwear read 'Cailv Kenli'
Now this is embarassing.
Chinese idol Mu Ziyang, 29, found himself trending on Weibo recently, after a post by a fan ‘exposing’ the singer for wearing fake Calvin Klein underwear went viral.
The hashtag “Mu Ziyang’s CK underwear is fake” shot up the ranks of Weibo’s trending search keywords, along with pictures of the knockoff undies in question.
As it turns out, the singer was performing at a concert recently, and when he lifted his arms to make a heart sign, the red waistband of his underwear became visible.
Unfortunately, instead of Calvin Klein, the words on Ziyang’s underwear read 'Cailv Kenli'. Oops.
Netizens rushed to leave their two cents on the fashion faux pas, with many commenting that the entire situation had them in stitches.
Others wondered how many of these underwear Ziyang had at home, and if he was going to throw all of them out after this.
The embarrassed Ziyang eventually addressed the issue on Weibo.
“Okay, stop nagging. I just didn’t notice that I had bought a fake. All these in the span of a day,” he wrote.
His fans, however, did not feel bad for making fun of him.
“Take note of the brand! Don’t just look at the underwear!” one wrote, while another laughed that Ziyang shouldn’t have addressed the issue 'cos now even more people know about his fake underwear.
Ziyang went on to leave a comment on his own post, revealing that he didn’t know what to do with the rest of his fake underwear.
“What do I do with them, do I continue wearing it? I’ve bought so many, I can’t throw them away,” he fretted.
