M'sian Ex-Cross Dresser Hiring A Part-Time Girlfriend For CNY & Valentine's Day
One of the most dreaded parts of Chinese New Year is when your kaypoh relatives start grilling you about your love life. But Malaysian influencer Bryan Wee is now attempting to find a solution.
Recently, Bryan, better known online as Bai En, took to Instagram to announce that he’s looking to “hire” a girlfriend to bring home for the festive season.
"I'm hoping to look for a girl who can go back to my kampung with me and pretend to be my girlfriend in front of my parents," he said.
Bryan rose to fame for cross-dressing and portraying female characters online over the past few years. However, he announced that he will be returning to his male identity in January 2026.
In his post, Bryan said he’s also looking for someone to spend Valentine’s Day (Feb 14) with, adding that he’ll be treating his date to dinner.
While he will foot the bill, he asked that his date "not eat something so expensive", adding that his budget is RM30 to RM50 (S$9.70 to S$16.16).
“If you eat more than that, you pay the difference,” he deadpanned.
Wait, that has to be a joke, right?
The day after Valentine’s Day, Bryan plans to head back to his hometown with his date in tow for CNY festivities. He, however, warned that she shouldn’t expect any “princess treatment.”
He will also be charging her S$16 for petrol fees and the ride back to his kampung.
“When you see my parents, please address them properly. When you’re free, don’t just sit there and scroll through your phone. Help my mum sweep the floor or prepare ingredients. Don't be doing nothing, it doesn't look good," he said.
As for the outfits, Bryan stated that his date would have to look good, and that he could lend her the dresses he wore during his cross-dressing days. She will, however, need to wash and return it afterwards.
"When we're having reunion dinner, don't just focus on eating. You need to take food for me too, otherwise they'd know you're a fake girlfriend," he reminded.
"Most importantly, when you're sleeping with me at night, you can be a 100 per cent assured, because I used to be a' girl' too, I definitely won't touch you," he promised.
In return, Bryan said he will pay RM50 (S$16.16) for her services and gift her a bouquet of roses reportedly worth RM100 (S$32.40) as a token of appreciation.
Satire or not, there are seemingly many interested parties in the comments section.
So… any more takers?
