More Details About Gillian Chung’s Hotel Room Accident, Which Left Her With A 6cm Wound On Her Head
The singer-actress was rushed to the hospital in the wee hours of this morning (Sep 7).
Hongkong star Gillian Chung’s management company has released more information and photos following the shocking news that she had been hospitalised this morning (Aug 7) after suffering a “serious head injury” in her hotel room in China.
According to Emperor Entertainment Group, the 39-year-old, who was in Xiamen for work, had woken up at 2am to go to the bathroom when she suddenly felt dizzy and fell, with the area near her right brow bone slamming onto the edge of a marble object (presumably a piece of furniture). Yes, ouch.
After her fall, Gillian called a colleague, who immediately sent her to the hospital and notified Gillian’s best friend Joey Yung and manager Mani Fok, who both hopped on the first flights out of Beijing to see her. Upon arriving at the hospital, Gillian underwent a brain scan and other examinations before getting “dozens” of stitches on her 6cm-long wound.
