Monsta X to Debut in Japan with Title Track ′Hero′

Boy group Monsta X is debuting in Japan with Universal Music Japan.

On April 3, Monsta X′s agency Starship Entertainment revealed that the group signed a contract with Universal Music Japan′s label Mercury Tokyo and plans to debut in Japan with title track Hero on May 17.Mercury Tokyo was created by Universal Music Japan in order to debut Monsta X in Japan and the name was derived from Mercury Records, which is a record label that began in Chicago in 1945.

Monsta X′s first Japan single will contain the Japanese versions of hit tracks Hero and Stuck. Leading up to the album release, Monsta X will be holding a showcase in Osaka on May 1.

Meanwhile, Monsta X, who released their 1st Korean studio album The Clan Part.2.5: The Final Chapter on March 21, is currently actively promoting the title track Beautiful.
