As a former nurse, Hongkong singer-actress Miriam Yeung has seen and experienced plenty of things that most people haven’t, and there are some unpleasant memories that have stayed with her to this day.

In the latest episode of Chinese variety show Mr. Housework, the 47-year-old opened up to her husband, Hongkong PR guru Real Ting, about her terrifying first day of work at the hospital.

“I remember having to wrap up a dead body on my very first day ‘cos someone had passed away and I had to take care of it,” she recalled. “I was panicking a bit, but I couldn’t cry, scream, or say anything. I could only do what I was taught to do in this situation by my mentor.”
