Miriam Yeung Had To Take Care Of A Dead Body On Her First Day Of Work As A Nurse

As difficult as it could get, Miriam said that her old job helped her to become a more positive person.

“I feel like I wouldn’t be where I am today if not for my three years working as a nurse,” she mused. “There were many things that happened inside the small world of a hospital, and you got to see how you would respond in an emergency and how you would deal with life-and-death situations.”

She later added: “When I look back now, I can see that the way I handle things or the impression that I give is a little different from other celebrities ‘cos I used to be a nurse.”

After watching the episode, many nurses could relate to how Miriam felt when she was handling the corpse.

One nurse revealed in an interview that there is one huge taboo that must be avoided at all costs, which is to say the name of your colleague while wrapping up a dead body.

This is ‘cos they believe that when someone has just died, they are still conscious of what others are saying around them, so nurses fear that after the corpse has ‘heard’ a certain name, it will come back to find that person. Shudders.

Miriam also looked back on her days when she was still a student, admitting that she was never exactly Miss Popularity.

“When I was in school, I was very introverted and didn’t have a lot of friends. I was also very ugly. I thought I was very ugly,” she said, as Real just sat there listening in disbelief.
