Mimi Kung’s 22-Year-Old Actress Daughter, Who Just Made Her TV Debut, Also Has A Degree In Architecture

Former Hong Kong actress Mimi Kung’s 22-year-old daughter, Ashley Lin, has attracted quite a bit of attention for her appearance from netizens in recent years.

The actress, whose dad is Chinese actor Wei Lin, is widely referred to as the "Prettiest Second-Gen Star" and is also dubbed a “young Pace Wu”.

Ashley is no stranger to the limelight. She got her start in showbiz at 16 as a model and songwriter and made her acting debut in 2020 film Find Your Voice starring Andy Lau.

She has since appeared in several music videos and is currently starring in ViuTV drama Rope A Dope, alongside Hong Kong boyband Mirror members Anson Kong, Lokman Yeung and Alton Wong.

Turns out, Ashley is not only beautiful and talented, but also quite the overachiever.

At the age of eight, Ashley was already Grade 6 certified in piano and Grade 8 for vocals, and has won an inter-school vocal competition before. 

She later picked up violin and flute, and is adept at fencing and horseback riding too.

She's an all-rounder

She excels academically too. 

According to reports, she achieved an International Baccalaureate score of 41 and recently graduated from Hong Kong University’s Department of Architecture.

Ashley, who is now signed to Hong Kong director Johnnie To's agency, said she wants to focus on developing her acting and singing career
