Mimi Chu Calls Herself The “Quarantine Queen” Having Spent 56 Days In Isolation In Hongkong & Singapore

Veteran TVB actress Chu Mimi has proclaimed herself the ‘Queen of Quarantine’. Her claim to, um, glory? She has been through a total of 56 days of self-isolation in Hongkong and Singapore having travelled between the two cities twice in the past few months.

The 65-year-old, who has been based in Singapore, first had to return to Hongkong to work on drama, Armed Reaction 2021. She then returned to Singapore before flying back to Hongkong again to complete some commercial work which had been pushed back due to COVID-19.

But shuttling between Hongkong and Singapore meant that she’s had to quarantine herself for two weeks four times, and that works out to a whopping 56 days.
