Mike He blasts media for spreading false statements
The actor was rumoured to be involved with a fellow singer called BoboJane
Taiwanese actor Mike He lashed out at the paparazzi on Weibo last night, following Taiwanese media reports that he was seemingly involved with a fellow singer known as BoboJane.
Mike was witnessed with actor Michael Zhang and some other friends at a karaoke bar in Taipei at 9pm last week, where they sang for almost 10 hours straight, and only left around 6 the next morning.
He was said to have looked very close to one of the women in the group wearing stripes, and she was later identified to be BoboJane.
The actor was also said to have sent her off in cab and kept a low-profile, wearing a black hat and a mask to conceal his identity.
However, his manager has responded, “I have no impression of Bobojane and Mike has not mentioned her once.”
Mike then confirmed that it was a normal gathering with friends to celebrate one of their birthdays.
“All this time, I would always pay no attention to rumours and laugh them off. However, my family is affected this time round so I cannot just sit by and let it slide. I am disgusted by the culture of the media and shocked that they are able to report something without proof. It was my good friend’s birthday, a simple and innocent celebration but yet you have twisted the whole situation into something false,” he wrote.
Mike had always been a very private person and therefore, surprised many he first announced in June 5 that he had married his first love, and already had a 4-month-old daughter, “Meibao,” born in February.
