Hongkong actress Michelle Yim has been single ever since her long-time boyfriend, footballer-turned-actor Wan Chi Keung, died of nasopharyngeal cancer at the age of 53 in 2010.

The pair dated for 26 years but were never married, despite what some rumours claimed.

During her appearance on new TVB talk show Twinkle Twinkle Single Star, the 65-year-old opened up about their decision not to tie the knot, saying, “We didn’t need it. We had a lot of freedom and trust in our relationship, so we didn’t need a marriage certificate at all.”
