 We can’t say we’re surprised by the impossible beauty standards in showbiz — or the relentless pressure on actresses to somehow look 25 forever.

But come on lah, at some point we need to let women age in peace.

Earlier this week, former Hong Kong screen goddess and Miss Hong Kong 1988 Michelle Reis took to Instagram to share a sweet Chinese New Year photo with her husband, businessman Julian Hui, and their two adorable pups.

“Happy CNY to everyone!” wrote the 55-year-old star, who shares a 15-year-old son, Jayden, with Julian.

Now sporting luscious blonde locks, Michelle looked radiant as ever — and fans were quick to shower her with praise.

“Almost couldn’t recognise you with the blonde hair. It looks great on you!” one follower gushed.

But while most were admiring her glow, some netizens zoomed in on something else entirely: her hands.

A few pointed out that her hands looked wrinkled, with one commenter bluntly saying: “A beautiful woman should take good care of her hands too.”

Another snarked: “Her hair and those granny hands are causing a scene!”
