Netizens Make Fun Of Michelle Reis For Not Ironing Her Dress In New Photo

Former Hong Kong actress Michelle Reis, who turns 53 on June 20, has been captivating audiences with her beauty ever since she won the Miss Hong Kong Pageant in 1988.

The socialite, who’s married to tycoon Julian Hui, always looks gorgeous and put together, and still frequently gets netizens gushing over her looks.

It’s no wonder she’s touted as the “Most Beautiful Miss Hong Kong Of All Time”.

However, her recent OOTD snap on Instagram generated lots of buzz for the wrong reasons.

Dressed in a grey linen dress and pink jacket and posing under the blue sky, Michelle wrote: “Beautiful sunny day."

Beauty in imperfection

While she looked elegant as always, all some netizens could talk about was how wrinkled her dress was. It also did not help that the creases were more obvious under the sunlight.

There were comments like "Just looking at the photo, the creases are very obvious, a kind reminder" and "It would be better if [the dress] was ironed".

Some fans were surprised that the star, who is always impeccably dressed, would commit such a fashion faux pas.

“Sister should get a stylist,” said one mean netizen, while another asked: “Why is Mrs Hui’s taste like this now?”

Ouch.

There were some who questioned if the dress is supposed to be crinkled, you know, like the creased clothing trend.

While we're not so sure about that, we think Michelle still looks great.
