Michael Wong Was Super Angry When His Daughter Posted This Nude Pic On IG 'Cos He “Knows What [Other] Men Are Looking At”

Irisa Wong, the younger daughter of 57-year-old Hong Kong actor Michael Wong and model Janet Ma, has been making a name for herself as a model and influencer.

The 27-year-old often shares photos of herself on her socials, including some very risqué snaps, much to the chagrin of her dad.

Michael recently appeared on TVB talk show My United Lover with Janet, and on it, he shared his thoughts on Irisa’s NSFW pics. The couple have an elder daughter Kayla and son Kadin.

Michael admitted that he is pretty conservative and does not like it when Irisa posts such photos online, particularly the one showing her completely naked from the back in the shower.

The photo, which Irisa shared on her 24th birthday in 2019, caused such a stir that she disabled comments on the post.

Michael said: “I asked her, ‘Do you have to go so far?’”, adding that she crticised him for being too serious.

While Michael understands that the world of social media is very competitive, and there’s a need to post eye-catching pics to stand out, some of Irisa’s photos are just too sexy.

Janet, however, has a different view on the matter.

Janet believes Irisa posted the risqué pics purely for herself, not to boost her popularity, saying Irisa knows she has a killer figure and wants to flaunt it. 

And mama's totally cool with it. In fact, some of the pics were taken by Janet.

While that may be true, Michael retorted that men think differently and he knows what goes through their minds when they look at revealing pics of his little girl.

"There are some things that only men will understand. Men know what [other] men are looking at. And when it's your daughter, you don’t feel so good. This is the case for dads,” he said.

“Some friends will say 'OMG it’s your daughter, I remember she used to be so little,’ and I would reply, ‘Yes, stop fantasising'."

Despite his protests, Irisa said previously that she has no intentions of toning down and that her dad will just have to be accustomed to her pics.

Seems like her strategy has worked. Michael and Janet say they no longer bring up the nude pic as Irisa is grown up and they don’t want to interfere too much in her life.

During the show, Michael also opened up about his other protective dad ways, such as the time when he was so fierce to one of Irisa’s boyfriends that he scared the poor dude away.

The conversation started out innocently when Michael asked the guy, when he was over at their house, if his parents liked Irisa.

“Unexpectedly, he said, ‘They haven’t met. I have not introduced them yet'," said Michael.

Furious, he went into dad mode and asked: "Why do you have to hide my daughter? This is very disrespectful to my daughter. You can come to my house freely, but it’s not the case [for Irisa]."

Calling Michael very traditional and troublesome, Janet revealed that the boy was very scared and later that night, Irisa came home crying

"I don't know if they broke up because of this," said Michael.
