A-Mei assures fans she is safe in London
The singer had a concert on the day of the Westminster attacks

Yesterday, London, the capital city of England was hit by what is believed to be a terrorist attack in the afternoon, leaving four dead and 29 injured, with seven of them currently in critical condition.
It is understood that a man had drove a car into pedestrians on the Westminster Bridge, before running into the Palace of Westminster, armed with a knife. He later stabbed a policeman before he was shot dead by officers.
Taiwanese singer, A-Mei, who was in the city as she had a concert on the very night of the attack, took to her Facebook this morning to reassure her fans that she was safe.
“UTOPIA 2.0 Celebration World Tour in London, thank you to everyone who was present. [We’re] all safe,” the 44-year-old wrote.
When news of the terrorist attack first broke, fans were worried that the concert was going to be cancelled.
However, as Londoners took to Twitter to trend #WeAreNotAfraid in a show of defiance against the terrorists, the concert ultimately went on as planned.
Fans who were present at the concert also shared that “the attacks did not affect the fans’ enthusiasm for A-Mei at the concert.”
A-Mei also praised the fans, who sang along to all her songs, commenting that this was “the biggest KTV in England”. The songstress also constantly thanked the fans, and praised their singing as well.
