Mayday’s Masa celebrates his twins' first birthday

Mayday’s Masa recently celebrated the first birthday of his twin children, Luke and Leia. During the celebrations, the twins took part in a zhua zhou ceremony, a traditional practice which requires a baby to pick a few items which symbolises their future occupation.

Masa’s wife, Vicky, uploaded a number of pictures from the ceremony with the caption, “Regardless of what you grab, I only wish for you to grow up healthy and well”.

In the pictures, Luke can be seen holding on to a baby rattle. Meanwhile, little Leia seemed to have a little more trouble deciding on what to pick. She first held on to a spring onion, before choosing a drumstick, and finally, an abacus. With the twins both choosing to grab musical instruments, many fans commented that they seemed to have inherited their father’s musical prowess.

Masa tied the knot with Vicky in November 2014 and welcomed a pair of twins in May last year.

In related news, Mayday recently appeared on an episode of the variety show, Mr. Player, marking their first appearance on a variety show since 2012. Their appearance was well received by the public, with high viewership ratings among viewers aged 25 to 34.
