Veteran Hongkong singer and cooking show host Maria Cordero, 67, was devastated when her husband, Rick da Silva, passed away in his sleep last November after a three-year battle with lung cancer.
On a recent radio show, Maria, who is affectionately known as Fei Ma, shared that Rick has “visited” her at home on more than one occasion after he passed away. And the first time was on the seventh day after his death.
She said: “That night, I cooked the food he loved [and went to bed]. When I woke up, the rice was gone and the bread was half-eaten.”
Her friends suggested it was the work of mice, but Maria was adamant that it was her husband's spirit as “it’s impossible that mice wouldn't leave traces after stealing food”.
