Man Spends Over S$64K Of Company Funds On His Mistress — Here's How His Wife Found Out About The Year-Long Affair

A woman from Malaysia recently took to a Facebook page to share the heartbreaking story of her husband’s infidelity with a colleague. To make matters worse, the affair not only shattered their marriage but also involved a staggering amount of money.

The woman shared that she once believed her marriage was stable, but reality hit hard after the shocking revelation.

She explained that her husband met a new female accountant at his company in January last year. Just a few weeks later, her marriage began to take a turn, but at the time, she didn’t notice the signs and thought everything was normal.

Over the past year, the OP worked hard to keep the household running, living frugally to save for the family. She never suspected that problems had already begun with her husband, who is presumably the boss of a company.

It wasn’t until last month, when employees complained about delayed salaries, that she started reviewing the company’s accounts. That was when she realised it wasn’t just a small discrepancy — funds were being withdrawn, bit by bit, which snowballed into a larger amount.

She initially thought it was a banking error and even went to the bank to check. But what she discovered completely wrecked her. The money had been transferred out by her husband, and the recipient was the female employee.

When she printed the company’s account statements at the bank, she was devastated as the teller went through each transfer.

The records showed a RM9,300 (S$2,980) transfer in January, two transfers of RM12,000 (S$3,842) and RM21,800 (S$6,980) in February, and RM15,600 (S$4,994) in March, all sent to the same account.

She added that these were only partial records from the company account and did not include transfers her husband made from his personal account, such as covering the rent of his mistress’ luxury apartment at around RM5,500 (S$1,760) a month for four months, along with other miscellaneous payments totalling over RM9,000 (S$2,881).

Just these transfers alone came up to nearly RM90,000 (S$28,814).

Upon further investigation, she uncovered the shocking truth that over the past year, her husband had frequently withdrawn large sums of cash from the company, claiming it was “to pay suppliers” and that the latter parties only accepted cash. These so-called “cash transactions” amounted to at least RM70,000 to RM80,000 (S$22,410 to S$25,612).

Adding up all the expenses, she estimated that her husband had spent up to RM200,000 (S$64,030) on the other woman.

She revealed that her husband had used company funds and his money to pay for meals, entertainment, designer bags, and even a luxury apartment for the woman, and that they had long been involved in an improper relationship.

On one occasion, she checked his phone while he was in the shower and discovered chats, photos, and videos – including explicit selfies from the woman. At that moment, she completely broke down.

After sharing her story, someone reached out privately to tell her that the woman had allegedly been involved in a similar incident at a previous job, though the account remained unverified.

The woman said that while some people may seem innocent on the surface, their true nature can be very different. However, she did not reveal whether she had confronted her husband about the affair.

Sharing her experience as a cautionary tale to others, she penned: “Do not trust anyone too easily. Always manage your own money. And if problems start to arise in your marriage, don’t ignore them – they won’t get better on their own.”

The mistress sent the husband explicit photos and messaged him about her rent, even after he told her not to contact him at night.
