Man Spotted On Train Counting Cash Like A Bank Teller

Not scared of getting robbed?

Man Spotted On Train Counting Cash Like A Bank Teller

While some flaunt luxury items wherever they go, one man in Changzhou, China, seemed confident enough to show off how much cash he was carrying around.

In a 54-second video posted on Xiaohongshu, the man was seen counting a stack of 100-yuan (S$18.53) banknotes openly on the subway.

It seems one round of tallying wasn’t enough, as he then turned his stack of cash into a fan, seemingly recounting the amount.

Was he just counting, or showing off at this point?

Even when preparing to leave the train, he didn't stash the money away but confidently held it as he walked off.

Wait a minute... isn't China cashless?

Interestingly, netizens seemed unfazed by the public display of cash with one suggesting the money might not be real

Another said: “The economy might not be great, but at least public safety is.”

Counting for everyone to see.
Once wasn't enough and it seems he needed to employ the fan method to be sure.
