Man Sees Siti Nurhaliza Swarmed By Fans In KL Mall & Asks The Internet Who She Is
There's no doubt that Siti Nurhaliza, 46, is one of Malaysia's most well-known pop icons. The songstress, who is celebrating her 30th year in the music industry, has been awarded the title of Dato' Sri, and is considered to be one of the wealthiest celebrities in the country.
Siti recently made an appearance at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, where she was, unsurprisingly, swarmed by fans clamouring to get a pic of her.
However, her massive popularity left one tourist hilariously confused.
The tourist found himself caught in the crowd. Despite not being aware of who Siti Nurhaliza is, the tourist, likewise fished out his phone to take a video of her.
Here's where it gets funny — a few seconds into the video, he asks on the video in the most perplexed tone: "Who is this?"
He later posted the video online, and immediately got his answer from a bunch of tickled netizens.
They introduced her as "Malaysia's living legend", "The pride of Malaysia", and "Asia's Celine Dion".
Some netizens also mentioned how Siti's 2018 track 'Anta Permana' is one of King Charles' favourite songs, referring to a playlist he curated comprising 17 tunes from the Commonwealth nations. And yes, 'Anta Permana' was included in that list.
Then there were also those who left cheeky comments on the tourist's video in an attempt to fool him into believing that Siti is "a heavyweight champion from the MMA" and "an Esports world champ".
Very funny.
"Dude will Google her and instantly fall in love," another fan predicted.
Who knows — maybe Siti gained another fan that day?
