Man Proposes To Fan Bingbing; Says He Has S$3.9mil In The Bank
He also promised to move mountains for her. Literally.

Another smitten male fan in China has made headlines for trying to propose to the celebrity girl of his dreams, and this time, the object of affection is Chinese actress Fan Bingbing.
Recently, a short clip of a Chinese man unabashedly declaring his love for Bingbing went viral on Weibo. He called himself “the internet’s number one demolition tuhao” (tuhao is a term used to describe the nouveau riche or new money), and proudly boasted that he has 20mil yuan (about S$3.9mil) to his name, which supposedly makes him qualified to take good care of Bingbing.

“Fan Bingbing, I love you. I am your loyal fan”
The fan then shared that he intends to “dig a mountain, lay a foundation, and build a big villa” for Bingbing to live in. He also pointed at the river behind him and said: “I want to develop this lake for you to swim and bathe in. I am now fully capable of supporting you. Marry me, Fan Bingbing, I love you. Wait for me.”

“[I want to] propose to you”
Apparently, this isn’t the only time the fan has posted such romantic confessions for Bingbing online. However, famously hard-to-please netizens were not impressed at all, accusing him of being crazy and attention-seeking, as well as ridiculing him for bragging about his wealth that’s nothing compared to what Bingbing can make on her own.
“Fan Bingbing didn’t even blink an eye when she was fined 800mil yuan (S$158mil),” scoffed one, referring to the 38-year-old’s tax evasion scandal from two years ago. Another called the fan’s 20mil yuan “a drop in the bucket in Bingbing’s eyes”, while others pointed out that Bingbing could easily make several times that amount just by simply shooting a movie (or rather, in more recent times, doing a live stream auction).
Still, gotta give it to this guy, though. We mean, have you ever promised to literally move mountains for your celeb crush?

Bingbing definitely doesn’t need anyone else to take care of her
