Out of all the businesses that are running in the midst of a pandemic, those that rely on travellers have been hit particularly hard, and Taiwan-based Malaysian singer Michael Wong aka Guang Liang knows exactly how that feels.

In an interview with Apple Daily, the 51-year-old Ipoh native revealed that he had spent over NT$1mil (S$48,000) on renovating an old 132 sqm apartment near the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur with the intention of turning it into a cosy homestay for tourists.
