M'sian Musician, 64, Marries 21-Year-Old Fan As Second Wife

Malaysian musician Halim Yazid, 64, has become the talk of the Internet after revealing he has a second wife.

What’s shocking is not that he had taken on another spouse, but that his new wife, Nurul Farhana Asyikin, is only 21.

Yes, that makes him a whopping 43 years older. 

In fact, he is old enough to be her granddad.

Not that that's an issue.

In an interview with mStar, Halim shared that Farhana, who is from Kelantan, is a huge fan and is familiar with his songs despite her young age.

They met on social media, and interestingly, Farhana used to babysit his cousin’s child.

The couple got hitched in November 2022 and are parents to a six-month-old daughter.

Halim has eight children with his first wife.

He revealed that he is grateful that his first wife has accepted their relationship, but admitted that his spouses aren’t close.

Despite living just three-minutes from each other, they have yet to meet.
