Malaysian Actor Nazrief Nazri’s 2-Month-Old Son Tests Positive For COVID-19

In an interview with Malaysian news portal mStar, Nazrief shed more light on Noah’s condition.

The father-of-one said that he was taken aback when he found out that Noah had tested positive.

“We've never brought Noah out at all, only around our neighbourhood, and my wife and I have followed all the standard operating procedures (SOP),” Nazrief said.

"Other than us, Noah did not have any close contact with anyone except the hospital staff who handled him during the check-up,” he went on to share.

Nazrief also confirmed that both he and his wife, who are fully vaccinated, had tested negative for the virus.

All three of them will be quarantining at home till September 30. As of now, Noah’s condition is good, and he’s recovering well.

“I’m not trying to point fingers, but our baby didn’t meet anyone else, it’s odd because we only went to the hospital,” Nazrief went on to say.

He also advised all parents to handle their own kids when they bring them for check-ups in the future.

"It’s best to not let other people or nurses hold your child. If you’re weighing your child, it’s better if you hold them yourself ‘cos we can’t tell whether the person who’s holding your child has had contact with other people prior to meeting you,” he said.
