Taiwanese Star Makiyo Shames Husband Online Just 5 Days After Giving Birth To Their Son

One usually expects a couple to be loving and content in the early days of welcoming their first child. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case for Taiwanese celeb Makiyo, 38, and her Taiwanese businessman husband, Mr Jin, 35.

After tying the knot earlier this year in May, Makiyo gave birth to the couple’s first child, a son, on Oct 30.

Just five days after though, the couple had a big fight, with Makiyo putting her husband on blast on social media.

Since giving birth, Makiyo has been staying at a confinement centre to focus on her recovery.

Mr Jin took to his Instagram on Nov 3 to post a story of Makiyo laying in bed, revealing that he had “witnessed her terrible temper” postpartum.

He also said that Makiyo was in unimaginable pain after going through a C-section, and expressed his willingness to tolerate her bad temper ‘cos of his love for her.

However, that wasn't the full story.

On the wee hours of Nov 5, Makiyo hosted a live stream, where she accused her husband of “six major crimes”. They include:

1. Mr Jin leaving the confinement centre with his luggage the night after claiming to “tolerate'' her temper on IG. 
2. Forcing her to drink water so she can lose weight.
3. Adding ice to all the drinks he buys for her.
4. Being unable to wake up when she asked him to call the nurse for a pain-relieving jab.
5. Being of no use, smoking, and playing games on his phone at the confinement centre.
6. Leaving their newborn son directly under the air-con duct.

Amidst the very public fight, Makiyo also claimed that she was shocked by her husband’s behaviour and revealed that they are now in the middle of a cold war.

Makiyo was extremely upset at her husband for only “putting up appearances”, having left the confinement centre without any explanation the very night he posted the IG story, where he told everyone how much he loved her.

“He’s really very irresponsible, does he want me to tolerate [this]?” said Makiyo during the live stream.

She went on to explain that due to her C-section, simply leaving the bed to use the bathroom takes her 30 mins, yet she was forced by Mr Jin to drink 3.5L of water everyday just so she can lose her pregnancy weight faster.

“What does he take me as? Why must I be forced to go on a diet right after giving birth?” she questioned.

She also complained about how her husband would place their son directly under an air-conditioning duct, and would take 15 minutes to change their baby’s diaper. She was so angry that her blood pressure “rose to 160”.

“Mr Jin is the king of being perfunctory, I already told him that Dee Hsu jie jie had taught me how to prepare warm drinks, which is better for my body, but he didn’t care to learn. Isn’t [he] too much?” Makiyo asserted.

She then said that undergoing a C-section was akin to “being in hell”, and the only way to overcome it was to get pain-relieving jabs.

Even so, she was unable to wake her husband up when she needed help with calling the nurse.

“He sleeps until he snores. Is he a baby?” she questioned. She would be sweating buckets due to the pain from the surgery, but Mr Jin never offered to help her change. He would only do so under her request, but quickly returned to using his phone, editing pics and playing Mahjong online.

She read a portion of the fight off her phone, saying: “He says that he simply wants to find someone who knows how to cherish him. If you can find [that someone], please go ahead. One moment he says he loves me, the next moment he doesn’t, please go then!” she exclaimed.

When asked by a netizen if she regrets getting married, Makiyo, again, took the chance to express her disappointment, saying: ‘I don’t regret, because I really love [my] child! But Mr Jin has thoroughly disappointed me."

Makiyo’s manager has since entered the fray to address the situation.

They revealed that Mr Jin claimed to have left under Makiyo’s request. He then returned to the confinement centre, requesting to stay, and even started crying, but Makiyo was still angry and refused to let him enter her room.

Her manager also revealed that this isn’t the first big fight the couple has had, and they would make up after some time. For now, it would be best for them to let each other cool off from the fight.
