Ma Jingtao, 63, Is The Same Age As Dad Of His Girlfriend, Who's 26 Years Younger Than Him

Surprise, surprise! Ma Jingtao is finally going public with his girlfriend, Jane. 

In 2023, The Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre star was already rumoured to be dating Jane, aka Bian Mu Po Ni Xiao Pony on Weibo, after she posted a selfie of the two of them.

And they finally spilled the beans during a recent live stream. 

According to reports, Jane is a 37-year-old Chinese financial investor. She is 26 years younger than Jingtao, who's 63 years old.

She apparently also looks a lot like Chinese actress Gao Yuanyuan.

Two years ago, Jane posted online: "My idol has become my lover", seemingly revealing her relationship with Jingtao. 

“I don’t mind that you’ve been divorced twice. Those women didn’t know how to cherish you, but I do!” she continued.

Jingtao was married to Tang Yun from 1990 to 1993 and they have a daughter who is now 34. He married Wu Jiani in 2007 and they have two sons — Ma Shitian, 16, and Ma Shixin, 15 — but the couple eventually split in 2017. 

This time, Jane even openly discussed the age gap between her and Jingtao. 

"My dad and Jingtao are the same age. It's totally normal. I don't care about that at all," she averred.

She emphasised that her parents are open-minded and do not oppose the relationship at all. "They love me too much to interfere," she added.

The couple met at a friend’s gathering and neither of them actively pursued the other. 

“We got together because we were meant to," she said. “I love everything about him, just everything.”

She then stressed that she's no gold digger.

"Jingtao doesn't hand his money over to me, and I don't control his finances. I manage my money, and he manages his. I’m financially independent and can support myself. If the house needs anything, I’ll buy it and so will he.”

When asked whether she would marry Jingtao, Jane seemed pretty chill.

“Getting a marriage certificate is easy, but is it necessary? We don’t think it’s really that important," she questioned. 

“The day I got together with him, I knew clearly what I was doing. I won’t regret it.”
