Louis Koo Worked Only One Day In 2020 'Cos He Wanted To Spend More Time With His Parents
He's got his priorities right. Also, it's not like he needs the money.

The director of Once Upon a Time in Hongkong, Wong Jing, recently took to his social media to reveal a surprising fact about one of the movie’s stars — Louis Koo.
And before you get all worried — Wong Jing had nothing but praise for Louis, 50, who’s basically one of the nicest actors in the industry.

“Many people know that Louis is a role model, who is involved in many good movies every year. However, last year, apart from doing a day’s worth of filming for a scene in Once Upon a Time in Hongkong, Louis didn’t do anything else! Why is that so?” Wong Jing questioned in his post.
He then went on to share the seriously heartwarming reason behind Louis’s absence.
“It's not that he didn’t want to fly over to China for work. Rather, it’s ‘cos he was worried about his elderly parents. In the event that anything happens to them, he wouldn’t be able to return to be by their side immediately [since he has to be quarantined first],” Wong Jing went on to reveal.

He's practically working for fun at this point
Well, if we’re being honest here, Louis really doesn’t need the extra cash from working more hours anyway.
The actor is reportedly worth a staggering S$236mil and is known for contributing heavily to charities, even establishing the Koo Tin Lok Charitable Foundation in 2009. Reports estimate that the actor has donated up to 50mil yuan (S$9.9mil) over the years.
