Pretty much everyone knows by now just what a great and down-to-earth guy Louis Koo, 51, is.

His altruistic side has presented itself numerous times during the COVID-19 pandemic alone, whether he was providing quick financial aid to his fellow showbiz workers, personally distributing supplies to the needy, or making sure his restaurant staff kept their jobs.

However, his dedication to doing good started much earlier. In 2009, after witnessing the devastating effects of the Sichuan earthquake, Louis established the Koo Tin Lok Charitable Foundation to fund the construction of schools in remote villages. It’s said that as of 2019, his foundation has helped to build 104 schools.
