Louis Koo Rides An Electric Bike To Set Every Day And Doesn’t Have A Personal Assistant To Help Him

Louis Koo, 51, is as known for his tanned skin as he is for being really down-to-earth.
From eating cup noodles on an economy flight to the many charitable deeds he has done over the years, it is no wonder the movie star is well-loved by many.
Louis, who reportedly has a net worth of S$236mil, also established a foundation under his name after the 2009 Sichuan earthquake to fund the construction of schools in remote villages in China.
Louis’ newest film, Warriors of Future, of which he is also the executive producer, is set to be released in theatres next month. It stars other A-listers including Carina Lau and Lau Ching Wan and features a cameo by Nick Cheung.
A Douyin video of Louis on the set of the movie recently went viral because of his unconventional, well at least for a star of his stature, mode of transport.
In the clip, Louis could be seen riding around the set on an electric bicycle. Even more interesting was that he didn't have a personal assistant with him unlike other stars.
He apparently shows up on set every day by himself and on his electric bike. And will already be dressed for the scene.
After filming, he would then leave the same way he came, without any fanfare.
Since the release of the clip, the hashtag “Louis Koo rides an e-bike to film set” became one of the top searches on Weibo.
Netizens have expressed how impressed they are at Louis' humility, leaving comments such as “That’s a real star” and “This is the kind of celebs we should be chasing”.
