Liza Wang Is Helping To Distribute Funds To Cantonese Opera Performers Affected By COVID-19 Pandemic
The funds are part of the HK$150mil (S$27mil) provided by the Hongkong government to help keep the arts sector afloat.
Hongkong veteran star Liza Wang has been giving back to society since forever.
Not only has she helped charities raise awareness and funds for cancer patients (she's a two-time cancer survivor herself) over the years, the 72-year-old also aided COVID-19 relief efforts by donating boxes of anti-pandemic supplies to frontline staff and temples in the past few months.
Now, Liza's helping Cantonese opera performers whose livelihoods have been affected by COVID-19.
