3 Kids Later, Linda Chung & Hubby Go On First Couple Trip In 9 Years

Ask any parent and they would probably agree that their personal lives become a mere illusion after having kids.

All they think about is their little ones and couple time is a luxury.

You can imagine Hong Kong actress Linda Chung’s excitement when she and her chiropractor husband Jeremy Leung, 51, recently went on a romantic Maldives trip without their brood.

They have three kids, Kelly, seven, and Jared, five, and one-year-old Anika, and this is their first couple trip since getting hitched in 2016. Or ever.

"First time ever! Without kids!” posted Linda, 39, on Instagram, along with several couple photos by the beach.

“Thank you, Mom and Dad, Abba and Papa, for helping us take care of our 3 munchkins so that Jer and I could go on this magical trip to the Maldives. We relaxed… had a spa, deep talks, long walks on the beach, snorkeled, sailed, swam, and kayaked. We snuggled, we napped, and decompressed. It was a fabulous, romantic trip (sic).”

She also revealed through her hashtags that they will be celebrating their ninth anniversary as a couple soon and that their vacation made them feel like they were dating again. Awww.

While Linda has travelled quite a bit the past few years, those trips were for work or as a family.

Netizens flooded Linda’s socials gushing about how sweet the couple is, while some quipped that “baby no. 4 is coming”.

Once one of the highest paid TVB actress, Linda put her career in the backseat after getting married and moved back to Vancouver to focus on raising her family.

In 2021, she made her small screen comeback, starring in TVB medical drama Kids’ Lives Matter.

Though she was lauded for her performance, Linda revealed that it could be her “last drama” as she couldn’t bear to be away from her kids.
