For someone who's pushing 50, Chinese actress Li Bingbing has a body toned and fit enough to rival women half her age.

But before you get envious, maybe you should see what the 49-year-old eats every day first.

Would you eat that even for one meal a day?

In a recent vlog that she shared on Douyin, Bingbing revealed that she regularly eats vegetables boiled in hot water for three meals a day.

"You just need boiled water and you can have it hot no matter where you are," she wrote.

Bingbing then went on to ask her fans: "Does anyone enjoy eating food with its original flavour just like me?"

She continued: "I think this is the healthiest way to eat. It helps to maintain your figure. I also like to have my food shredded, and you just have to add some hot water to it. I think this is really yummy 'cos you can taste the original flavour of the vegetables."

Really...?

Sorry Bingbing but we'd rather have an actual salad.

Bingbing's assistant then asked: "There isn't salt at all, how can you eat it?"

Her response? "I eat with my mind".

While there were netizens who were very impressed by Bingbing's discipline, many found her way of dieting "very miserable".

"Is there really no diet plan that's more normal?," questioned one such netizen.

Another netizen commented: "This isn't self-discipline, this is self-abuse" while another said: "What's the point of living?"

Would you eat like Bingbing just to look this good?
