Li Bingbing, 48, Has Been Struggling With Insomnia For Years; Also Feels “Tired, Weak & Fragile” All The Time

She continued: “Fear envelops me whenever the word ‘sleep’ appears. I’ve tried all sorts of methods: listening to audiobooks, listening to music that induces sleep, counting sheep, listening to English and [Chinese comedian] Guo Degang’s recordings, but their effects have never lasted for long.”

She said she consulted a sleep doctor that was recommended by a friend and was given “very strong” medicine. She hoped that it would work, but ended up staying awake till dawn.

Her other 'enemy', she shared, is how she always feels cold.

“I feel cold when I shower, and feel colder if I stay in there for a longer time,” Bingbing said. “Who can understand how I feel? I want to find someone who does, but I haven't been able to.”

Thankfully, things seem to be getting better for the actress, who said that appearing on variety show Miracles Beside You And Me has brought about positive change in her life.

Bingbing said she “cried all the tears that [she held in] for the past few years” during the five days of recording, and that doing so had “gotten rid of the toxicity” that was inside of her.
