Leon Lai's Ex-Wife Gaile Lok Sparks Divorce Rumours After She Uses The Word "Co-Parent" In IG Post
Are Gaile and businessman husband Ian Chu now sharing custody of their 4-year-old son?
On Monday (Feb 27), Heavenly King Leon Lai's ex-wife Gaile Lok shared some really sweet pictures of her and her 4-year-old son Hunter on her Instagram.
The 42-year-old Hong Kong model remarried businessman Ian Chu in 2017 and they welcomed their son in 2019.
In her caption, Gaile wrote: "Time is precious when you co-parent" with a heart-shaped emoji.
The term "co-parent" is used to describe parents who share responsibilities in bringing up their child, typically after a divorce.
So... is Gaile suggesting that she and Ian are no longer together?
In the past few years, Gaile, who faded out of the industry years ago, has been open about sharing her lavish lifestyle on social media.
Not only does she flaunt pictures of her private holiday home in Bali, the model-actress also posts regular pictures of herself with her gal pals living the taitai-life on the Bali beaches. And remember how she celebrated her 40th birthday on a private yacht with her family and best friends two years ago?
However, in her latest post, Gaile shared four black and white photos of her hugging and kissing her son, together with a cryptic caption, which led netizens to speculate that she and Hunter had been apart for quite some time.
With regards to the speculations, Gaile's agency responded: "She meant something when she said 'co-parent', but you'll have to ask her directly if you want to know what it means."
According to Hong Kong reports, Gaile and Ian divorced amicably six months ago, and have agreed to share custody of their son.
Reports also claimed that Gaile has moved back to Hong Kong from the United States, and intends to make a showbiz comeback. Apparently the model had already shot some commercials in Hong Kong, but is not ready to make a public appearance.
