Leo Ku Finally Ends His Self-Imposed Quarantine After 11 Months
The singer, who hasn’t trimmed his locks in almost a year, reportedly looks like Ekin Cheng now.
When Hongkong singer Leo Ku revealed last July that he hadn’t left his house in over 164 days because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we admired him for his tenacity when it came to staying safe.
Little did we know that he was far from done.
Back in January 2020, Leo, 48, and his wife Lorraine Chan, 51, had just welcomed their son Kuson, and so they decided to play it safe and stay home for fear of contracting the virus.

The new dad also took half a year off work to take care of his son. And those six months soon became a year.
For more than 300 days, the family-of-three relied on online shopping and home deliveries for their food and daily necessities. Leo would make it a point to disinfect packages and deliveries at the door before bringing them into the house.
Leo previously said that ideally, he would only go out when Hongkong hits 24 consecutive days of zero new infections. However, with the city facing a fourth wave of COVID-19 and no sign of the virus letting up, staying home was not a long-term solution, so he decided to end his self-imposed quarantine after more than 300 days.

Leo was recently spotted on the streets of Kowloon and according to a netizen, the singer now sports wavy shoulder-length hair resembling Ekin Cheng’s.
Which shouldn't come as a surprise since he hasn’t had a haircut in almost a year.
Socially responsible or just plain extreme?
Even though he is no longer in self-quarantine, Leo makes it a point to stay home whenever he isn’t working. He reportedly hasn't met his showbiz pals in almost a year and even turned down New Year’s Eve gigs in China and Macau as he didn’t want to be away from his family for too long.
