Korean Star Lee Seung Gi Wore A Wig To A Press Meet And Got Flustered When A Reporter Asked About It
The actor, who was taken by surprise by the question, said he “started sweating”.
Korean star Lee Seung Gi, 36, had an hilarious exchange with the media at a press event in Seoul earlier this week.
Those who follow Korean showbiz news would remember that the actor spotted a shaved head when he attended the KBS Drama Awards in December last year.
It's was why a journalist felt it fit to ask Seung Gi if he was wearing a wig at the event, since his hair couldn’t have possibly grown so long in a matter of two months.
The question made everyone at the event burst into laughter, including the actor himself.
“I usually don’t sweat much, but this has got me perspiring suddenly!” joked Seung Gi, before praising the journalist for their “pointed” question.
Seung Gi went on to explain that he had spent a long time considering if he should attend the event with his clean-shaven head, or wear a wig.
Ultimately, he decided to opt for the “natural-looking wig”, which was custom-made for him for a movie he's filming.
“Are you very surprised? You looked pretty shocked as well,” Seung Gi joked.
It must also be said that the actor’s wig looked so real, the other stars at the event were shocked that it was fake hair.
Last month, Seung Gi announced that he is marrying his girlfriend of two years, actress Lee Da In, 30, on April 7.
The actor wore his engagement ring to the press event, and was very gracious when it came to answering questions about his impending wedding.
“Thank you all for your well wishes, it’s the biggest decision of [my] life... I’m living each day blissfully thanks to the warm wishes I’ve received from everyone,” said Seung Gi.
