Lee Jinglei’s Mum Is Reportedly An Influential Consultant To A Taiwanese Conglomerate; Rumoured To Have Been The Chairman’s Mistress
Reports also claim that Jinglei's wealthy background — she's said to be richer than the Wangs — means she was never after Wang Leehom’s money.
The messy fight between warring exes Wang Leehom and Lee Jinglei has more than catapulted their personal lives into the spotlight.
Who knew Jinglei's dad is Japanese and that she stopped using her Japanese name, Michiko Nishimura, which was how Leehom addressed her in his post, because of the "bad memories" associated with her father leaving her family.
Taiwanese media also discovered that Jinglei’s mother is former Hongkong actress Lee Yiuman, who acted in 1990 movie Return to Action alongside Alex Man and Rosamund Kwan.
This is the only known movie that she starred in, but Yiuman is said to have rubbed shoulders with “many influential actors” before giving birth to Jinglei in Japan.

According to reports, Yiuman was rumoured to have been the mistress of Taiwanese conglomerate Nanchow Group chairman Alfred Chen.
The business spans several sectors in Taiwan, including food and home supplies, and reported a NT$964mil (S$47.26mil) profit in 2019.
Yiuman is believed to hold a position of power still in Nanchow where she is known to employees as ‘Consultant Lee’.
Reports also claim that because of Jinglei's background — they say she's richer than the Wangs — she was never after Leehom’s money.

On the other hand, Hongkong media are claiming that Yiuman is the reason the Wangs never fully accepted Jinglei into their family.
Reports say that Leehom was attacked by fans after he announced his marriage to Jinglei as they felt that he was marrying “the daughter of a mistress”.
Leehom has also never posted a picture with his mother-in-law throughout their eight years of marriage.
