New developments have emerged in Wang Leehom’s custody battle with estranged ex-wife Lee Jinglei.

According to reports, Jinglei, 35, has been convicted of contempt of court for failing to submit evidence of Leehom’s extramarital affairs, and could face a fine for it.

She also refused to let the 46-year-old pop star see their three children, daughters Jiali, seven, Jiana, five, and son Jiayao, three, who live with her.

In addition, the court has also approved Leehom’s application for the enforcement of visitation rights of his kids.

The exes have been engaged in a custody battle for their children for months.

Earlier this year, Leehom filed a motion against Jinglei for allegedly breaking their custody agreement, and she responded with allegations that he had cut her off financially and failed to pay child support.

According to earlier reports, Leehom is supposed to get visitation rights until the kids turn 21, but will only be able to visit at stipulated timings. He will also not be allowed to post anything about these visits.

However, he has not been able to see his kids since the divorce.

In March, the couple attended a hearing at a court in New York via video call regarding the “enforcement of visitation rights”.

They also held a second hearing in Taipei soon after regarding custody. Both sessions reportedly ended without a clear conclusion.
