Husband Of Lala Hsu Seen Catching Movie With His Male Assistant, Sparks Speculation That Their Marriage Is On The Rocks
Taiwanese singer Lala Hsu, 40, tied the knot with director Bill Chia, 52, in 2018 after three years of dating. The couple has a son and and a daughter, who respectively, will be turning five and three this December.
While Lala and Bill have always appeared to be living a blissful family life, recent reports by Taiwanese tabloid magazine, Mirror Media, suggest otherwise.
While staking out at the pair's Taipei home, the paps spotted Lala leaving the house in a car with a driver. Four hours after Lala's departure, Bill was seen returning home with a man and a woman, assumed to be his assistants.
Lala returned home with a nanny and her two kids at 6pm.
Later that day, at 11pm, paps spotted Bill and the male assistant from before catching a late-night movie at a cinema in Taipei's Xinyi district. The two were said to only return to Bill's home at around 2am.
The Taiwanese paparazzi came to the conclusion that Bill and his assistant were out on a date. They also locked in on the fact that Bill and Lala were seen leaving the house and returning home separately.
According to Lala and Bill's neighbours, the couple's relationship has been strained for quite some time now.
"They've long had issues, why have people [not noticed it]?" said one neighbour.
A showbiz insider also told the media that Lala and Bill once had a big fight over their children — they had different views on how to educate their little ones, and the quarrel had negatively impacted their relationship. They were also said to have brought up the topic of divorce.
Lala's agency has since responded to the reports, firmly rubbishing all the claims which they labelled "completely fictitious".
Stating that "everything is good" between the pair, they also thanked the public for their concern and asked for the media to respect the privacy of Lala and her family.
