Chinese pop idol and former member of Kpop boyband EXO, Kris Wu, has denied all allegations of sexual assault that was levelled against him by a Chinese influencer.

On July 8, 18-year-old Chinese influencer, Du Meizhu, publicly accused the 30-year-old star of being a sexual predator in a tell-all post on her Weibo.

Meizhu mentioned that she was in contact with several other women who had the same experience with Kris. Meizhu also alleged that Kris often preyed on girls by offering them lead roles in his music videos, and plied them with alcohol in order to rape them. Additionally, she accused him of having sex with minors too.

While the post was full of other sordid details — like how Kris “only liked girls born after the year 2000”, it took a while for the post to go viral on the internet. And once it did, Kris’ studio immediately refuted the allegations, threatening Meizhu with a defamation suit.
